Insomnia writer Hillary Seitzh will pen the Paramount Pictures remake of The Reincarnation of Peter Proud.
The original, released in 1975, starred Michael Sarrazin as a young college professor who experiences flashbacks from a previous incarnation and is mysteriously drawn to the town in the flashbacks. Jennifer O'Neill and Margot Kidder also starred
David Fincher was in talks last year to direct the remake.
